Dog Hair Galore
In what is truly a coincidence, our trusty vacuum died the same day we watched the commercial for the PetVac Elite on an As Seen On TV spot. I don’t know whether it just felt just plain inadequate or it was its time to go, but it died nonetheless. We have dogs, the largest being an Australian Shepherd mix. This dog sheds enough for us to start our own pillow factory using his hair. I use a Furminator every other day, but the house is still full of his hair. When the little lady called me in to look at the PetVac Elite, I knew a solution was at hand.

PetVac Solution
We wanted a longer trial period, so we did the 90 Trial Offer and got the $200. rebate and free shipping. For $499. we got more vacuuming stuff than I ever thought existed. The PetVac Elite comes with every attachment imaginable…even one to turn it into a wet vac for liquid spills. The suction powered lint brush is just great for getting the dog hair off clothes. Although they offer an optional sealed HEPA system, we stuck with the original charcoal filtration system and have been satisfied.

The PetVac really does work well. It’s lightweight and very quiet. We especially like the feature that allows it to operate while lying flat on the floor. Dog hair seems to always find a way to get under the sofa and chairs. Our old vacuum cleaner, may it rest in peace, wouldn’t flatten out to let us get all the way under furniture, so I was always having to move things around. Surfaces don’t seem to matter; whatever the PetVac’s on gets vacuumed clean. It’s obvious someone did some thinking in the design as the power cord is 35 feet long, and the wet vac hose is 15 feet long. No more having to move the cords around to get where I need to vacuum. I know the automatic shut-off works because I accidently vacuumed up a plastic bag that was on the floor in the closet. The brushes popped out easily, and I was able to retrieve the bag.

The PetVac Elite comes with a Three Year Warranty that I hope I never have to use. Did I mention that the deal also included the earlier version PetVac…free?! They advertise that it’s a $150. value. I’ve been using that one outside to vacuum out the cars…works great. I’ve ordered a lot of stuff off TV ads; this one is as advertised!
